Job Summary

Join our team in a dynamic role as a groundskeeper at a private golf and tennis club in Bridgehampton, NY. Each day will provide different opportunities in property maintenance keeping the grounds in pristine condition. Tasks include bunker maintenance, greens mowing, fairway mowing, tennis court prep, and more.

This position is ideal for those looking to switch from mow and go landscaping to working for a established and stable company at our two conveniently located campuses in bridgehampton.

Experience in golf is not required but is a plus. Open to full time and part time schedules and flexible on start and times to a degree. Work is outdoors across our 9-hole golf course, tennis courts, and beach club grounds and it is a rewarding experience to present the golf course daily.

Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance the appearance of golf course fairways, greens, tees, and surrounding landscapes through mowing, edging, and aeration. Perform tennis court surface cleaning and landscaping to ensure optimal playing conditions. Operate groundskeeping equipment including mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, irrigation systems, and power tools safely and efficiently. Conduct manual handling tasks such as planting, pruning, mulching, and installing landscape features with precision. Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving equipment setup or landscape materials while maintaining safety standards. Perform routine inspections of grounds maintenance equipment; conduct basic maintenance and repairs as needed to ensure optimal performance. Support seasonal projects such as landscaping upgrades or turf renovations to uphold the club’s high standards of aesthetics and safety.

Requirements

Team player who brings a positive attitude daily Ability to operate power tools safely including trimmers, chainsaws, lawnmowers, and other landscaping equipment. Physical stamina for manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor activity in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship in groundskeeping tasks. Basic understanding of horticulture principles including lawn care, gardening techniques, and landscape design fundamentals. Commitment to safety protocols related to power tool use and equipment maintenance.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
