Job PurposeThe Junior Golf Instructor supports the delivery of the junior golf program by assisting with instruction, on-course activities, and participant engagement. This role helps create a positive, structured, and safe learning environment while reinforcing golf fundamentals, etiquette, and sportsmanship. ResponsibilitiesAssist the Junior Golf Director and PGA Junior Golf Instructors with group and individual lessonsSupport assessment classes and skill evaluations for junior participantsReinforce golf fundamentals, rules, etiquette, and sportsmanshipAssist with on-course instruction, supervision, and marshalingMaintain a safe, organized, and positive environment for all participantsSupport junior golf events, clinics, and program activities as neededFollow established lesson plans and curriculum as directed by leadershipWork under the direction of the Junior Golf Director and/or General Manager, adhering to established program guidelines and instructional standardsEscalate program-related decisions, curriculum adjustments, and instructional changes to leadership as appropriate QualificationsStrong knowledge of golf fundamentals, rules, and etiquettePrior experience working with junior golf or in a coaching/instructional setting preferredProfessional or collegiate-level playing experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to take direction and work collaboratively within a structured programDependable, professional, and safety-conscious Working ConditionsOutdoor golf course environment with exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, sun, wind, and occasional rainSchedule includes Thursdays from 2:00 PM – 7:30 PM, with additional weekday hours, evenings, and occasional weekends as needed for the program.Requires prolonged standing, walking, and active movement across practice areas and the courseFrequent interaction with junior golfers, parents, and members in a fast-paced, service-focused environmentCompensation$50 per hour American Golf Corporation is committed to equal employment opportunities for all.
