About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinking Director of Strategy to join our leadership team. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for identifying and realizing value-creation opportunities in areas such as financial strategy, AI adoption, enterprise-wide analytics, M&A integration, and performance improvement. You’ll bring a consulting toolkit, a strategic mindset, and an operator’s mentality to transform how our business makes decisions and creates long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Strategy & Transformation
Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve profitability, streamline operations, and modernize business processes across multiple businesses in our portfolio.
Drive strategic planning efforts in partnership with senior leadership and department heads.
AI & Analytics Roadmap
Collaborate with technology leadership to define and drive the company-wide AI strategy.
Introduce advanced analytics frameworks that unlock new sources of revenue and margin.
Value Creation & Performance Improvement
Identify, prioritize, and execute strategic cost reduction and profit improvement initiatives across the business, including stores, ecommerce, logistics, technology, merchandising, marketing and other operating expenses.
Develop rigorous financial models and business cases to support decisions around growth, efficiency, and transformation.
M&A & Integration Support
Support diligence, value assessment, and integration planning for acquisitions and investments.
Drive synergy realization efforts for newly acquired businesses.
Executive Partnership
Operate as a thought partner to the CEO, CFO, and senior leadership.
Prepare board-level materials and executive presentations with crisp, data-driven insights.
Qualifications Desired:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field required (MBA or other relevant graduate degree is preferred but not required)
3+ years of experience at a top-tier strategy consultancy firm is preferred (less experience may also be considered)
Experience leading or supporting client engagements in retail, consumer goods, or similar industry is preferred but not required
Demonstrated success driving complex transformations
Executive-level communication and presentation abilities.
Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills.
