Responsibilities

Supervise and care for children of all ages, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times during club events or activities Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical activity for toddlers through elementary school-age children Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's needs, behavior, and daily activities to foster trust and transparency Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly environment that adheres to health and safety standards including first aid procedures and CPR readiness Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions among children while respecting individual needs and developmental stages Assist with meal times or snack distribution as needed, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed Collaborate with club staff to coordinate special events or youth programs that enhance the overall member experience

Experience

Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs is essential Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience caring for infants through elementary school-age children with an understanding of toddler care, preschooler care, and behavior management techniques Proven ability to handle emergency situations confidently by applying first aid and CPR skills Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Classroom or activity planning experience tailored to young children’s needs is highly desirable
