Assistant Clubhouse Manager

Gulf Stream Golf Club seeks a highly motivated and service-oriented individual with a background in fine dining and private club operations to join our team as Assistant Clubhouse Manager. This individual will lead a high-performing team, and maintain impeccable service standards while bringing a polished, hands-on management style to a club that values excellence and attention to detail.
Candidate Qualifications:
Progressive leadership experience in private clubs, luxury hospitality, resorts, hotels, or upscale food & beverage operations.Strong knowledge of daily clubhouse operations, including dining, events, member services, and facility management.Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams while fostering a culture of accountability and service excellence.Experience managing staff scheduling, labor controls, payroll review, and productivity standards.Strong understanding of budget management, cost controls, and financial reporting.Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple operational priorities simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.Experience coordinating and executing member events, tournaments, and club programming.Ability to proactively identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions with minimal supervision.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with members, guests, vendors, and team members.Working knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service standards, inventory controls, and sanitation requirements.Familiarity with Northstar POS systems, reservations platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.Ability to maintain high service standards in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.Strong understanding of luxury service expectations and member engagement strategies.Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, staff training, and operational efficiency.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as required.Knowledge of private club governance, committee structures, and member-driven service environments preferred.Experience supporting capital projects, facility improvements, and operational initiatives is a plus.Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation or pursuit of professional development through the Club Management Association of America preferred.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Hotel & Restaurant Management, Recreation Management, or a related field preferred.Equivalent combination of education and progressive hospitality or private club leadership experience will be considered.Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation, or active pursuit of CCM certification through the Club Management Association of America, preferred.Food Safety Manager Certification (e.g., ServSafe) required or obtainable within a specified period of employment.Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development through industry associations, continuing education, and leadership training programs.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with club management software systems required.CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred or obtainable within a specified period of employment.\
