Job Title: Golf Course Superintendent
Location: McMinnville, Tennessee
Salary Range: $75k – $90K with opportunity for more based on experience
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Golf Course Superintendent to oversee the maintenance and management of the McMinnville Country Club. The Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring the course is maintained to the highest standards, providing an exceptional playing experience for members and guests. This role requires a combination of turf management expertise, leadership, and operational oversight to maintain the course’s aesthetic and functional quality while managing resources efficiently.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience or internship in golf course maintenance.
- Valid Tennessee Pesticide Applicator’s License (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire).
- Strong knowledge of turfgrass species, soil science, irrigation systems, and pest management specific to Tennessee’s climate.
- Ability to motivate and direct staff.
- Proficiency in budgeting, inventory management, and cost control.
- Familiarity with golf course maintenance equipment, including operation, maintenance, and repair.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, club management, and members.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations related to golf course operations.
- Valid driver’s license.
