Description
We are currently seeking Food Expeditors who are committed to providing consistently professional and courteous service, contributing to an outstanding guest experience. Food Expeditors play a vital role in the operational flow, acting as the primary point of contact between the kitchen and service teams, and responsible for the smooth flow of orders and efficient delivery of service. This includes facilitating seamless communication between servers and chefs and ensuring the highest standards of dish presentation and quality.
This position entails effectively communicating orders to the kitchen and meticulously preparing dishes for delivery. The goal of the expeditor role is to provide an exceptional experience for our members.
Part-Time: <30 hours weeklyStarting Wage $18
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the dining room to the kitchenEnsure orders are being prepared correctly based on members specificationsCheck dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature of foodMonitor to-go orders for completeness and package for deliveryExchange important information between front of the house and back of the house staffsSet up, break down, maintain, and stock the expediting work areaInspect the work areas according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaningOther tasks identified by Executive Chef or Clubhouse Manager as neededRequirements
Proven experience as a food expeditor or other relatable restaurant positionUnderstanding of health and safety regulations in the restaurant industryExperience and efficiency in using kitchen equipment and utensilsAbility to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and be able to bend, walk, and stand for duration of work shiftMust be 18 years of age or olderFood handlers certification preferred, not requiredThe ideal candidate should posses the following attributes:
