Bartender - Aileron Golf Club (part time)

Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for a part-time Bartender for Aileron Golf Club! The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by preparing the highest quality beverages, taking food orders, and providing timely, accurate, and friendly service for each guest. Their responsibilities include verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol pairing and tastes, knowing how to make traditional and classy drinks, processing payments, managing inventory and cleaning bar supplies. They also handle food orders directly from customers and will also support shifts as a server. They ensure food and beverage compliance, restock bar inventory, and manage the overall bar operations. All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices, and procedures. Job Duties Warmly greets and acknowledge guests and takes drink and food order; provides information about menu items and looks for an opportunity for additional sales (upselling)Engages with guests in a friendly and professional manner, assessing needs and making recommendationsCheck identification of guests to verify they are of legal drinking agePrepare and serve a wide variety of craft cocktail, beer and wines, and food. Must have a thorough knowledge of menu offeringsEye for detail, properly using drink mixing tools and techniquesPrepares the correct garnishes for cocktailsAccurately processes transactions through the point-of-sale system ensuring cash, credit, and debit transactions are recorded accuratelyResponds appropriately to customer concernsFollows alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and deals with intoxicated guestsEnsures a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked barStocks and cleans glassware through the operation and maintenance of the glass washer and sanitizerRestock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as neededPerforms opening and closing side work, as directedFollows health, safety, and sanitation guidelinesInventories all beverages and operation supplies, orders replacement items as neededBuild guest loyalty, uses guest name after obtainedMaintain a clean organized work environment that is free of safety hazards which may include sweeping and moppingAccountable for compliance with all local, state, federal laws, and regulations including those relating to food safetyAssist with coverage of server duties as needed.Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Combination of Education and Experience will be considered.
