As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.Pay$10 per hour + commission, based on experienceSummaryThe Golf Teaching Professional will work closely with the Head Golf Professional and Lead Golf Instructor to promote and conduct golf instruction and will play a lead role in all Ladies instructional programs.Qualifications, Knowledge, And Skill RequirementsPGA/LPGA Class A Member or PGA/LPGA Associate working toward membershipMust be a dedicated golf instructor with a minimum of one year of related experience in golf instruction and club-fitting techniquesTeaching and coaching experience in all aspects of the game of golf; experience with video analysis preferredMust possess exceptional communication skillsMust have highly polished interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people easily and quicklyMust be extremely organized, efficient, and detail-orientedMust be highly motivated, goal-driven, and a self-starterMust work extremely well in a team environmentResponsibilitiesTake a lead role in all Ladies Programs, Private and Group Instruction, Golf Schools, Corporate Clinics, Member Clinics, and Junior ProgramsProvide golf instruction to Tiburon membership, resort guests, students from the community, and juniorsAssist in the supervision and upkeep of the practice facilities to ensure that safe, clean, organized, and professional conditions exist throughoutAssist the Golf Academy with all current instructional programsAssist in keeping all teaching aids and instruction inventory in excellent conditionParticipate in administrative duties as directed and as needed to ensure smooth operation of the golf instruction programPerform some of the opening and closing duties of the instruction program as directedRepresent the facility in the community and with local businesses through promotional activities and programsBenefits & Other CompensationHealthcare Benefits – Medical (if determined by the ACA measurement)Retirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)Additional Compensation – Eligibility for CommissionsEligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company’s discretion.
