Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bar Server to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional beverage and food service to our members and guests, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Your enthusiasm for hospitality, combined with your knowledge of drinks and food service, will ensure memorable experiences that keep members coming back. Responsibilities
Greet members and guests warmly, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
Take beverage and food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit card payments securely
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar area following food safety protocols
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Assist with bar setup, restocking supplies, and ensuring the bar area remains organized and inviting
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, preferably in fine dining or country club settings
Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently
Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
Cocktail experience along with spirits knowledge to craft quality drinks confidently
Food handling certification and understanding of sanitation standards required
Excellent communication skills to engage with members and team members professionally
Prior experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
