About the Role
The Grounds team keeps Apple Mountain in championship condition. This is hands-on outdoor work: mowing, bunkers, course detail, and daily setup, for someone who takes pride in a course that looks and plays great every single day.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough; edge, trim, and detail with handheld and riding equipment
Rake and maintain sand bunkers to a consistent, clean standard
Complete daily course setup: move cups and tee markers, rake bunkers, stock supplies, and prep the course ahead of play
Prepare soil beds for sod, seed, and plantings; assist with irrigation checks and repairs
Course detail: weed control, debris cleanup, landscaping, and seasonal work
Operate utility vehicles and small machinery to haul materials and remove debris
Perform routine care on equipment; keep the maintenance shop clean and organized
Follow all safety procedures and report course or equipment issues promptly
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Hard-working, reliable, and takes pride in a well-kept course
Golf course, landscaping, or grounds experience a plus. We'll train the right person.
Comfortable with early starts, weekends, and outdoor work in all conditions
Valid driver's license
Equipment-operation or small-engine/mechanical experience a strong plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to lift 50+ lbs, bend, kneel, and work outdoors in all weather including heat; early-morning starts, physically active for the full shift.
Pay: $17/hour. Reports to Fred Williams, Course Superintendent. Full-time, 40 hours/week, weekend availability required.
