Overview The Back Nine in Lehi is a locally owned and operated indoor golf club, built by passionate golfers who believe in year-round training, continuous improvement, and creating a better way to experience the game. As part of The Back Nine franchise, we’ve taken that vision and elevated it, designing a premium 24/7 facility where players can train seriously, play competitively, and improve consistently no matter the season. Each of our three semi-private luxury bays is powered by industry-leading Trackman IO simulator technology and has premium massage chairs, lounge seating, entertainment TVs, and a clean, elevated design. As we enter our next phase of growth, we are launching our coaching program for the first time and we’re looking for the right golf professional to build it with us from the ground up. This is more than a lesson-giving role. It’s an opportunity to shape the future of instruction at one of Utah County’s most unique golf facilities while playing an active role in building community inside the club. Experience Required Must be very proficient with Trackman and understand in depth how to use it as a coaching tool. At least one year teaching individual lessons to a broad range of abilities and ages required. More preferred. Certification in a golf instructor teaching program preferred but not required. As part of the interview process, candidates will be asked to provide a sample lesson to the ownership group. We will be evaluating teaching style, communication skills, and proficiency of using TrackMan as a coaching tool. Essential Responsibilities • Serve as a brand ambassador for The Back Nine in Lehi including within your personal network and online presence • Film one weekly tip for use on our instagram page • Make at least one additional post weekly that promotes and tags our club on your own page (can be a repost of our content) • Actively participate in and help lead clinics, junior programs, pro nights, leagues, and community outreach events • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from members and guests • Be generally available to accommodate Back Nine clients and schedule their lessons within a reasonable time frame • Must have high proficiency using TrackMan technology as a teaching tool • Experience working with all age ranges and experience levels • Willing to be visible, engaged, and active in club programming and special events • Abide by the terms of our Independent Contractor Agreement Benefits Flexible schedule: Schedule lessons directly with clients at times that work for you both. Our facility is open 24/7 to members and lessons. Non-exclusive: While we do expect you to be a brand ambassador, we understand that you may also want to coach outdoors or at other indoor facilities that may be more convenient for your existing clients. We don't require any exclusivity but do ask that you recommend our club to all of your coaching clients. Built-in demand: We have an active, engaged membership base eager for instruction. Flat Pay Rate: Our flat-rate compensation model ensures you’re paid consistently and fairly for every lesson taught. Your income is not impacted by club promotions, member discounts, or packaged pricing. You focus on coaching. We handle pricing strategy, without it affecting your paycheck.
