Bar/Floor Manager

Job Description: North Shore Golf Club, a premier private member-owned club on the beautiful north shore of Lake Winnebago, is seeking a polished, professional bar/floor manager to join our team. Duties Oversee daily bar operations, beverage service, and member interactions to ensure top-tier hospitality standards. Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to cultivate a motivated, knowledgeable team capable of delivering exceptional service. Handle POS systems for accurate cash handling, order processing, and inventory control. Monitor inventory levels regularly, order supplies as needed, and control costs through effective stock management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all operations, including food safety protocols and sanitation practices. Lead shift management by coordinating service flow during busy hours, resolving member concerns promptly, and maintaining a lively yet professional environment. Conduct staff interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a strong team aligned with the bar’s values and standards. Implement training programs focused on member service excellence, food safety procedures, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with the broader management team to develop promotional activities, special events. Qualifications Proven management experience ideally in upscale dining/private golf club environments. Demonstrated expertise with POS for cash handling and sales tracking. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control practices, and restaurant operations management. Prior involvement in training & development initiatives to enhance team performance. Familiarity with budgeting processes, cost control strategies, and hospitality management principles. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while fostering a fun yet professional atmosphere.
