### **Overview** **2nd Assistant Golf Professional – Inwood Country Club (Inwood, NY)** **Inwood Country Club**, a historic private club on the south shore of Long Island and home of the 1923 U.S. Open, is seeking a personable and motivated **2nd** **Assistant Golf Professional** to join our professional staff for the 2026 season and beyond. **Position Overview** We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about the game of golf, enjoys interacting with members, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about player development, daily golf operations, and providing first-class service to our membership. **Responsibilities** - Assist with all aspects of golf operations, including daily play, tournaments, merchandising, and member engagement. - Manage and enhance the **Ladies Golf Program**and **Junior Clinics**, creating a welcoming and educational environment for all participants. - Provide private and group **instruction**for all ages and skill levels. - Conduct **club fittings**and equipment education sessions using launch monitor technology. - Assist with **Golf Genius**tournament setup, scoring, and results communication. - Operate and manage the **Jonas POS system**for sales, member billing, and inventory. - Contribute to the continued improvement of the golf shop and member experience. - Participate in all major member events, including tournaments and social outings. **Qualifications** - PGA Associate or PGA Member preferred (but not required for the right candidate). - Experience with **Golf Genius**and **Jonas POS** - Strong interpersonal and communication skills; must be personable, approachable, and professional. - Enthusiastic teacher with experience in junior and women’s golf programs. - Knowledge of current equipment technology and custom fitting. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. **Compensation & Benefits** - **20-22 Per Hour** - **Housing available on the property - Included** - **100% Lesson and Clinic Pay** - **Meals, uniforms, and golf privileges**. - **Golf Outing Pay** - **40+ Hours per week in Season April - November** - **Opportunity for career advancement within the club’s professional staff structure.** **About Inwood Country Club** Founded in 1901, Inwood Country Club has a proud championship heritage and a vibrant, family-oriented membership.
