Job Summary

Worthington Hills Country Club is seeking a dependable, motivated, and experienced PM Line Cook to join our culinary team. This position is responsible for preparing and executing menu items during dinner service while maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, presentation, and cleanliness.

The ideal candidate will have strong culinary skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This individual will work closely with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and fellow kitchen staff to provide an exceptional dining experience for Club members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to Club recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.Execute daily dinner service in a timely and consistent manner.Ensure all kitchen stations are properly stocked, organized, and prepared before service.Maintain consistency in food quality, portion sizes, and presentation.Coordinate with fellow kitchen staff and front-of-house employees to ensure efficient communication and timely food service.Assist with daily food preparation, including proteins, vegetables, sauces, and other menu components.Maintain proper food handling, storage, labeling, and sanitation practices in accordance with health department regulations.Assist with inventory organization, product rotation, and minimizing food waste.Properly operate and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to management.Complete daily cleaning and closing procedures at the conclusion of dinner service.Assist with food preparation and execution for banquets, private events, and Club functions as needed.Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen environment.Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.Qualifications & Skills

Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar culinary position preferred.Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations.Ability to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and perform well under pressure.Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently when needed.Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Reporting Structure

Reports directly to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.Work Schedule

Full-time position with a primary focus on evening and dinner service.Schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays based on Club operations and event schedules.Compensation & Benefits
