JOB TITLE: Golf Shop Attendant

DEPARTMENT: Golf Operations

REPORTS TO: Head Golf Professional

JOB SUMMARY:

The Golf Shop Attendant is responsible for facilitating standard inside operating procedures of the Golf Shop. This specifically relates to Member/Guest check in, Golf Shop Cleanliness, and assisting the Golf Professional Staff with daily responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work closely with the Head Golf Professional and Professional Staff to complete daily tasksMeet and greet all Members and Guests in a friendly, professional mannerAnswer phones and assist Members and Guests with booking tee times and general questionsResponsible for POS transactions between merchandise sales and tee sheet billingEnsure cleanliness of Golf Shop and that merchandise is stocked in a presentable wayCommunicate to outside service attendants regarding any changes to the tee sheet or course updatesPerform related duties as assigned by the Head Golf ProfessionalWORK ENVIRONMENT:

Ability to stand for extended periods of timeOften required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouchAbility to lift boxes and/or objects up to 25 poundsAbility to work in fast-paced environment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficient in Microsoft Word & ExcelKnowledge of the general game of golf preferredPresent a positive, professional imageSelf motivated and customer service orientedStrong interpersonal and communication skills
