## Overview

Reporting to the Sales and Service Manager, the Club Services Associate role combines hands-on club repair work with front-end operations and merchandising to enhance sales and the Customer experience.
This role expects you to execute all Club Services such as re-gripping, re-shafting, and loft & lie measurements/adjustments, while also handling front-end tasks like returns, exchanges, gift cards, lesson redemptions, loyalty program awards, discounts, promotions, and coupons. You will keep the Club Services Desk and surrounding area clean and professionally presented, ensure equipment and supplies are maintained and operational, and document service orders accurately using the Golf & Tennis Services App.
- Engage with every Customer and deliver world-class service by leveraging PGATSS Service behaviors, focusing on building lasting relationships.
- Assess and diagnose issues with golf clubs, including shafts, grips, and heads, then communicate repair options, costs, and timelines clearly to Customers.
- Document repair orders, track work progress, and maintain accurate records of services performed for Customer reference through the Golf & Tennis Services App.
- Stay up to date on upcoming merchandising promotions and marketing events, utilizing bulletins on The Links to maintain a strong merchandising presence through a promotion's life cycle.
- Serve as a champion of products and services, informing, educating, and promoting offerings to Customers, and provide consistent feedback to the Sales and Service Manager on operational and merchandising opportunities.
### Qualifications and skills
Candidates must have strong listening and interpersonal skills, with good verbal and written communication and the ability to communicate cross-functionally. Basic computer skills are required, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Organization is important: candidates should be able to organize multiple priorities to meet deadlines and objectives.
Education required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 2+ years in retail materials handling, club repair or similar experience preferred.
Working conditions and physical demands include the ability to stand for extended periods of time, climb up and down a ladder, move throughout the store, and lift a 30 lb. box overhead. Schedule requirements: must be able to maintain flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
You should demonstrate the ability to quickly learn business acumen with appropriate training and show strong self-accountability and a proactive drive for results.
