The key principle of this job is to support ACU's Mission to educate students for Christian service and leadership throughout the world. Responsible to the Head Men's Golf Coach for coaching student-athletes and recruiting.

Coaching and Teaching student-athletesTeach and instruct principles, skills and techniques of the gameTeach and Develop mental skills of golfTeach and Develop spiritual and relational goals for golf student-athletesRecruiting Evaluate potential golf student-athletesRecruit potential golf student-athletes via mail-outs, phone contacts, and personal visits on and off campusEstablish and develop relationships with high school coaches, instructors, recruiting services, and other sources of potential golf student-athletesNCAA RegulationsResponsible for understanding NCAA rules for yourself and your student-athletes compliance with NCAA rules is of the utmost importance at Abilene Christian University. As a member of the athletics department staff, it is expected that you will have a full understanding of the NCAA rules that pertain to your position. It is also expected that you will comply with all NCAA rules, and if you become aware, or have reasonable cause to believe, that a violation of a rule has occurred, you will immediately report it to the Director of Athletics or his/her designee.Professional Development Requirements:
