Responsibilities
Oversee daily landscape maintenance activities, including turf management, lawn care, tree care, and gardening to maintain a pristine course environment.
Supervise a team of groundskeepers and maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high standards.
Manage irrigation systems and water resources efficiently to promote healthy turf and plant life while conserving water.
Coordinate construction projects, pathway improvements, or landscape installations to enhance course aesthetics and functionality.
Implement pest control and fertilization programs aligned with best practices in horticulture and environmental stewardship.
Conduct regular inspections of the course’s landscape features to identify areas needing repair or improvement and prioritize maintenance tasks accordingly.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental policies while maintaining equipment, tools, and landscaping materials.
Qualifications
Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or golf course management with a focus on turfgrass science and horticulture.
Demonstrated supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or landscaping environments.
Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, irrigation systems, tree care practices, and general gardening principles.
Familiarity with construction processes related to course improvements or landscape projects.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Leadership skills that foster teamwork, motivation, and professional development among staff.
