Responsibilities of Golf Merchandise Specialist: Prioritizes athlete satisfaction by proactively interacting with them to discern their shopping needs, resulting in an exceptional athlete experience and providing comprehensive information on product options.Plays a role in the onboarding and guidance of both new and existing team members through their expertise in the specific area of the store. Installing good practices, exceptional selling skills, and key operational processes are prominent goals. Functions as an expert in designated process categories, ensuring efficient execution and heightened productivity.Exhibits efficiency and success in process implementation while prioritizing the athlete's needs; ensures that products are prepared for athletes to buy and engages with athletes in ways that are in line with their preferences.Ensures company compliance with merchandising and presentation standards by following approved floor set designs, signage specifications, price changes, inventory presentation methods, replenishment guidelines, and other prescribed protocols.Motivates and encourages customers to participate in company promotions, including loyalty programs, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.Creates a store setting that promotes inclusivity and respect for everyone, including team members and sports lovers.
