About the Role
Position Summary:
The Golf Course Maintenance Worker is responsible for the care and upkeep of the golf course grounds, facilities, and equipment. This role ensures that playing conditions are maintained at a high standard, creating an enjoyable and safe environment for golfers and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, raking, and bunker grooming.
Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment such as mowers, blowers, trimmers, and utility vehicles.
Assist with irrigation duties including watering, monitoring, and repairing sprinkler systems.
Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and seed under the direction of the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
Maintain landscaping around greens, tees, fairways, and clubhouse areas.
Set up and change hole locations, tee markers, and maintain course accessories.
Report any course damage, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions.
Support special projects such as aeration, topdressing, and sod work.
Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
Previous golf course or landscaping experience preferred, but not required (training provided).
Ability to operate small equipment safely and effectively.
Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:
Outdoor setting with exposure to weather, chemicals, and machinery.
Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
