Clubhouse Manager

Position Summary The Belmont Golf Club is hiring for the position of full-time seasonal Clubhouse Manager (mornings). Our season runs April to October / November. This Team Member is responsible for assisting with all Clubhouse operations. This is a wide ranging position where you will be responsible for all of the regular golf course operations related to tee times and payment, pro shop, cooking and kitchen prep and maintaining the cleanliness of the clubhouse. In addition to the regular operations tasks, you will also be responsible for being a leader to the rest of our team. You will remain in close contact with the Operations Manager often helping complete tasks to assist with operations. This position will be mostly full time morning shifts Monday - Friday. However the expection will be that you are flexible in your shifts working afternoons sometimes or on tournament / very busy weekends when we need our strongest team. Shift times will vary based on the sunrise and temp throughout the season. Key Responsibilities • Work with the Operations Manager, Owners and Afternoon Manager. • Take ownership of the team • Assist members with booking tee times, answering questions and greeting members and guests • Check in golfers for their tee time • Accurately use point of sale system and take payment • Manage rental of Golf Carts following rental guidelines, maintaining cleanliness and proper parking locations • Assist with Tournament set up and execution • Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures • Assist with merchandising pro shop items • Perform daily opening/closing duties as assigned on an ongoing basis • Assist in the sale and preparation of food and beverage items in accordance with standards laid out by the Operations Manager • Adhere to standardized recipes and specifications in order to maintain consistency and ensure all standards are met. • Keep kitchen clean and organized including fridge/freezers, counter and grill • Ensure dishes, glassware, pots, and/or pans are cleaned effectively and efficiently • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the clubhouse Requirements • Must possess a strong work ethic and be self-motivated • Maintain a positive attitude, understanding that you are a representation of the golf course and owners • Effective communication skills to include listening, understanding and responding • Provide the highest levels of service to members and guests and anticipate needs • Previous golf course experience is an asset. • Ability to work a variety of shifts including open and close • Food Handlers certificate is an asset The Belmont Golf Club is an equal opportunity employer and we would like to thank all applicants for their interest.
