Job Overview:
This position is responsible for variety of course maintenance duties.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Mowing, trim workRaking bunkerShoveling, rakingCourse clean-up and preparationChanging cups and tee markersBasic tree trimming and maintenanceCleaning equipmentLaying sodFilling and seeding divots and worn areasHand wateringOperating power equipment small hand toolsOperating power equipment large self-propelled equipmentOther duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Prior experience on a golf course maintenance crew is desirableEffective communication skills, both verbal and writtenPossess decision-making, conflict resolution, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently or as part of a teamAbility to operate golf maintenance equipmentUnderstand and exhibit behavior consistent with stated values of the Park District
