Equipment Manager

Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles is seeking a highly qualified individual for our Equipment Manager position. This position requires a high level of leadership, knowledge, and organization. TNGC-LA has a newer maintenance facility with ample shop space & storage, new grinders, golf lift, and newly remodeled equipment managers office! Job Responsibilities: Communicate daily with the Superintendent and Assistants in regard to equipment availability, repairs, and scheduling Manage team of assistant mechanics - ability to train, schedule, listen, and collaborate Maintain entire fleet of golf course maintenance equipment Develop, implement, and document a preventative maintenance program for all equipment Perform all preventative maintenance and curative maintenance to fleet of equipment Inspect and adjust equipment quality of cut and height of cut Sharpen reels and bed-knives Manage a monthly / annual equipment repair budget Order and manage inventory of equipment parts, fuels, lubricants, tools, and shop supplies Oversee and ensure the cleanliness and organizational integrity of the maintenance facility Oversee and ensure the maintenance facility is operating in a safe and sound manner while complying with all OSHA and CA state regulations Qualifications: Prior experience as a successful Equipment Manager, Head Mechanic, or Assistant Mechanic Advanced understanding for golf course maintenance equipment repair and diagnostics General understanding for all types of engines, hydraulics, pumps, electronics, etc. Ability to weld, fabricate, and powder-coat Thorough experience using reel and bed-knife grinders General knowledge using computers, Toro MyTurf, Microsoft Office, email, etc. Job Requirements: Positive attitude, eager to learn, and dedicated to the golf industry Willing to work as a team in an organized, high paced environment Ability to listen and efficiently complete assigned tasks Ability to multi-task while closely monitoring the daily operation Ability to prioritize and adjust to ever-changing conditions Benefits: Monday - Friday schedule (5:30am - 2:00pm) 401(k) Health, dental, life insurance Holiday, vacation, sick pay Uniforms provided Lunch provided Golfing privileges Significant discounts at other Trump destinations Reimbursement for continued education Trump National Golf Club - Los Angeles is an exclusive 18-hole golf course located in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
