2027 Internship

Myers Park Country Club is seeking seasonal interns for 2027. Interns will gain practical experience, develop their skills in a fast-paced environment, and work alongside experienced members of the Golf and Grounds team. They will also assist with a range of projects and daily tasks that support departmental operations.

In 2027, the club will undertake a full course renovation led by architect Andrew Green of A.H. Green Design, making this internship an exceptional opportunity to explore a career in agronomy while gaining experience on a major project. Key improvements include installing a new Toro two-wire irrigation system; constructing TifEagle bermudagrass putting greens; rebuilding all tee complexes; installing Tahoma 31 on tee tops, fairways, and surrounds; adding extensive drainage; and introducing design changes that reconnect Myers Park Country Club with its Donald Ross roots.

Throughout the internship, you will learn in a supportive, collaborative environment and gain hands-on experience at every stage. You will contribute to meaningful projects, support the team’s success, and gain exposure to multiple areas of our operation. This experience will help you build a strong foundation for your career. We value creativity, dedication, and a passion for golf, along with a commitment to advancing the game through excellence in turfgrass management.

The ideal candidate is motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. Applicants should be collaborative team players with strong communication skills and a willingness to embrace new challenges. Previous golf course experience is helpful but not required, and we welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and academic disciplines.
