Pro Shop Attendant

Troon offers a hospitality-focused golf environment where team members support guest service, golf shop operations, course activity, and daily facility needs. The Golf Shop Attendant role supports clubs managed by Troon by helping guests, processing reservations, assisting with golf shop inventory, and supporting inside and outside golf operations.
Role and Responsibilities of Pro Shop Attendant:
As a Golf Shop Attendant, you will provide superior service to guests while supporting golf shop, cashier, starter, ranger, cart, and practice facility operations. You will help create a friendly and organized golf experience by assisting with check-in, reservations, fees, golf carts, pace of play, and daily property security.
Perform clerk and cashier duties when assigned as inside staff.Process customer reservations for golf course guests.Provide customer service to arriving guests and help expedite the check-in process.Arrange and display golf shop inventory as necessary and directed.Collect green fees, cart fees, and other revenue from guests.Process payments in the POS system as trained.Assist in maintaining a clean and safe workplace.Assist in reconciling cash and accounts receivable charges to the daily register at closing.Ensure the property and its amenities are secured daily.Assist with setup of equipment and golf carts.Perform starter and ranger duties when assigned as outside staff.Welcome and greet guests and players in a friendly manner.Explain rules and course etiquette to groups when needed.Wash and sanitize the golf cart fleet.Maintain organized storage areas and practice facility.Assist with setup and organization of golf carts and equipment for tee time starts or outings.Facilitate orderly and timely pace of play to help prevent delays.Answer guest questions in a friendly manner.Keep records of starting times and golf cart numbers for each group when necessary.Help ensure each group has four players when possible.Pick up and clean practice balls when scheduled.Perform related duties as assigned by the General Manager.Required Skills and Experience of Pro Shop Attendant:

Knowledge about the game of golf is preferred.Compensation and Benefits of Pro Shop Attendant:
