We are currently seeking a full time Equipment Manager. The position includes a steady, full time schedule with bi-weekly pay.
Should be able to perform physical labor with a positive attitude and be able to follow and understand specific directions. Must be punctual, have your own transportation and possess a valid driver's license. Previous golf course or mechanic experience is a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
Manage and supervise the golf course equipment maintenance program, including routine service, repairs, and overhauls.
Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment, including mowers, tractors, and other machinery.
Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and parts inventory.
Coordinate with the golf course superintendent and grounds staff to prioritize equipment needs and resolve any issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of equipment.
Manage the budget for equipment maintenance and repairs, including procurement of parts and supplies.
Provide training and guidance to ground staff on proper equipment usage and maintenance procedures.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in golf course equipment technology.
Employment Standards
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Able to lift 50 pounds; pulling and pushing up to or over 25 pounds; moving and/or lifting items with awkward weight distribution.
Able to walk, stand, and bend for long periods of time.
Dependable, motivated and accountable for results.
Ingenuity and problem-solving skills for new and ongoing course projects are desirable.
Flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent change in duties.
Able to adapt to and work in variable weather conditions.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
