Mows greens, tees, fairways and roughs, bunkers and waterways, lays sod and plugs/seeds greens; responsible for rolling and verticutting. Assists in the maintenance of the irrigation system and the application of fertilizers and pesticides. Performs skilled project work as needed and operates specialized equipment including tractors and topdressing equipment. Exercises sound judgement in evaluating systems, informs supervisor of potential problems and takes corrective action when deemed necessary. Works in a safe manner at all times, and maintains a safe work environment for everyone. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Adhere to golf course professional appearance and grooming standards. Strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude. Able to work outdoors in variable conditions. Able to lift 50 lbs. consistently. Able to stand for long periods of time. Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions. Maintain a flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, holidays, etc. Valid Driver’s License - required. At least 3 years Golf Course Maintenance experience – required. The expected pay range is $22.00/hr - $24.69/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
