Summary
Position located at: The Courses of Clear Creek Golf Course - Fort Hood, Texas.
Responsibilities
Manages, plans, and directs the daily operations of the golf course facility to include golf course maintenance.
Formulates instructions and directives necessary to operate a fluid, profit generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base.
Coordinates functions with community and military representatives. As a second level supervisor, reviews the actions of subordinate supervisors including other PGA Professionals.
Prepares financial and operational briefings as required. Monitors the procurement of all supplies, equipment, and retail items for the activity. Responsible for all food and beverage operations within the facility.
Provides and maintains teaching program for patronage at the individual and group levels, including personal lesson participation.

A one year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre‑employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
Must be a PGA member class "A" in good standing.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience managing or directing the activities of a golf course.
A 4‑year college degree in a business‑related field may be substituted for 1 year of experience. (Educational documents must be uploaded at time of application)
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in golf course management or related hospitality industry demonstration.
Possess the ability to make quick and intelligent financial decisions with an expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and maximizing revenue through effective marketing and membership programs.
Possess a familiarity with environmental regulations and best practices in golf course maintenance.
Possess the ability for excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with members, guests, and staff while ensuring a high‑quality golfing experience and positive work place environment.
Possess at least two (2) years of experience using and maintaining the RecTrac system.

Compensation and Benefits
This job is part of a pay‑banded system.
Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest.
Incentives will not be paid.
