The Baltimore Country Club is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager / Restaurant Manager responsible for managing service for fine and casual dining and/or banquet events. The Manager will assure all dining facilities are set up and service is delivered in a manner that exemplifies gracious hospitality and excellence, providing the best experiences for our members and guests. The Manager will interact with members and their guests to ensure their needs are met, resolve questions and issues concerning food, beverages and service, and act as a liaison between the dining room, kitchen and other departments. Other responsibilities include supervising, training and scheduling staff, managing and controlling expenses, securing the dining areas at the end of each service, and maintaining the dining room inventory.
Candidate Requirements
Candidate must have proven experience in successfully managing a‑la‑carte and banquet service, scheduling and motivating staff to perform at an exceptional level, have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with members, guests, club management and staff, knowledge of F&B software and Microsoft Excel and Word, and be able to work all shifts including weekends and evenings. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management are strongly preferred. A working knowledge of liquor, beer and wine is desirable.
