About the Role
This is a tremendous and unique opportunity to lead the food and beverage team at one of the Baltimore area’s premier golf and event destinations. This full-service facility services over 600 member families and offers many venue options that can accommodate up to 300 guests for catering functions. The F&B revenue volume is upwards of $4M and has been steadily growing over the past several years. We provide gracious service in an inviting, family-centric, and relaxing atmosphere.
We are seeking an experienced and talented F&B professional to take responsibility for the entirety of F&B operations, including fine dining and catering operations. The Director of Food and Beverage is a hands-on position responsible for managing and leading a service team of up to 55 people. The Director of Food and Beverage will provide the service staff with training, coaching, and counseling to create highly competent employees who offer the best possible quality food and outstanding service.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years’ management experience required, preferably in a private club or upscale hotel.
Hospitality degree and/or CCM (Certified Club Manager) designation or working towards one is a distinct plus.
Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual.
Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional Member service.
Proficient in computer and AI skills, including catering software, POS systems, Word, and Excel.
Professional appearance appropriate for a premier country club.
Expert knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
Experience in the development and control of the overall Food and Beverage operations (both revenue and expense), including design and scripting of all concept menus, special events, and remote dining events.
Proficient in written and verbal communication skills with subordinates and superiors.
Proficiency with financial statements, scheduling, payroll, accounting, and progressive discipline.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
REPORTS TO: Clubhouse Manager/Assistant General Manager
SUPERVISES: Service Team (35 people)
COMPENSATION: $75,000 to $85,000
