Beverage Cart Attendant Seasonal

GENERAL NATURE OF WORK: This position performs semi-skilled work, selling a la carte food and beverage services to customers from a mobile cart. An employee in this class reports directly to the Assistant Golf Course Manager or Golf Course Manager for daily instruction, scheduling, and general duties. EQUIPMENT & JOB LOCATION: This position requires specific knowledge of Beverage and Alcohol services and equipment. The primary work site is the Beavercreek Golf Course. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Any one position may not include all of the duties listed nor do the listed examples include all duties which may be found in all positions in this class. Provides courteous and friendly service to the guests. Responsibly handles monetary & credit transactions. Responsibly provides a la carte food services in a sanitary manner. Responsibly serves alcohol products to customers, following the state and federal laws. Understands all equipment and its uses, including setup, breakdown and cleanup. Properly maintains, stores, and rotates inventory. Maintains a neat and sanitary work environment. Maintains personal hygiene to departmental standards. Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance. ADDITIONAL EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED: Operates Beverage Cart in a proper and responsible manner. DESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule format. Prior alcohol training and/or certification. Prior experience with point of sale (POS) systems and computer skills. DESIRABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or equivalent; or any combination of training and experience which provides the desired knowledge, skills and abilities. NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must maintain a valid Ohio Driver's License. Ability to work other than normal working hours, and to work various shifts as necessary. Must be able to perform physical functions, including bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
