Primary Responsibilities : (guest interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical responsibilities, etc.)

Mowing greens, fairways, tees, roughs, and collarsChanging cups and markersTrim mowing, and detail trimmingWatering, fertilizing, grooming, and topdressingMarking courses for tournament playEach Greensman is expected to put safety first and follow all departmental specific safety precautions as well as Greenbrier’s Safety PoliciesGreensman are to meet all performance standards set forth by The Greenbrier’s Golf Maintenance Standard Operating ProceduresSecondary Responsibilities:

All employees should be aware of and take part in any training provided by the hotel including orientation, re-orientation, CPR certification, and or departmental training sessionsGreensman are to use appropriate and professional language when addressing all guests and coworkersGreensman will follow “work preparedness” criteria each and every dayNormal Working Hours: (Shift, days )

6:00 am – 2:30 pm Monday thru Friday, Seniority Rotation on WeekendsIn order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria

Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number of years required, equivalent experience, etc.)

Been employed for 1 year on a golf course or turf related area preferredEducational Requirements: (Degree/Certification, highest required/preferred, field of study)

High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferredCommunication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone, in-person, group; Written: memos, documents)

Operate the greensmower in a safe and satisfactory manner
