Stillwater Golf & Country Club is seeking Bussers to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team!
At Stillwater, the Busser position is more than just clearing tables—it's viewed as a key support role and an essential team assistant within our front-of-house operations. Bussers work closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service, a clean and welcoming environment, and an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests.
Located in the heart of St. Johns County, Stillwater Golf & Country Club is part of a vibrant 55+ active adult community offering an exceptional lifestyle for both residents and team members. The Club features a bundled 18-hole golf course, a Toptracer-equipped practice facility, resort-style pool, tennis and bocce ball courts, and a full calendar of social events. Pay: $14/hour plus tip out

Job purpose
Provide support to servers, guests and kitchen staff with friendly, courteous and knowledgeable service.
Duties and responsibilities
Buss tables in the dining room and barServe bread and water tables that sit down for mealsSet up dining room for lunch and dinner serviceMaintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining room, server’s area, kitchen expo and bar areaCarry bus tubs from bar to kitchen, empty all garbage cans as neededSet up expo area without assistanceBe able to carry a food tray properlyQualifications
High School diploma or equivalent preferredMust be able to work independently and efficientlyExcellent oral communication and listening skillsAbility to follow directionsExcellent customer service skillsWorking conditions
Work is primarily indoors with some outdoor exposure. Potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, harmful chemicals and/or being exposed to flying golf balls.

Physical requirements
Good organizational and verbal skills. Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues. Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, monitors and develops subordinates, visually monitor the operation areas, write and read member communication.
Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 40 lbs., up to 30 lbs. frequently. Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting. Ability to consistently lift, carry and load equipment that may weigh 40 or more pounds, and sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes.
Please be advised that all work that requires the use of a ladder more than 8 ft. long must be reviewed by Hampton Golf’s Club Maintenance person. Following an assessment of the situation, a determination will be made as to whether a maintenance team member or subcontractors will perform the necessary maintenance task. No other staff member is authorized to climb to heights exceeding 8 ft. and/or perform such maintenance. In addition, personnel are prohibited from entering facility attics, walking on the roof of buildings and/or from using scaffolding.
