Job Summary: The Beverage Cart Attendant plays a vital role in enhancing the overall experience of our guests by providing timely and courteous beverage service directly on the course or designated areas. This position requires maintaining a well-stocked and organized beverage cart, ensuring that all products are fresh, properly stored, and presented attractively. The attendant is responsible for engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs promptly while promoting a positive and welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the role involves handling transactions accurately and adhering to all safety and hygiene standards. Ultimately, the Beverage Cart Attendant contributes significantly to customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of beverage services during events or daily activities. Minimum Qualifications: • Must be at least 21 years of age. • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often outdoors in varying weather conditions. • Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. • Valid driver’s license if operation of a motorized beverage cart is required. • Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality, preferably in a golf course or resort environment. • Knowledge of beverage products, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. • Ability to operate motorized carts safely and efficiently. • Responsibilities: • Operate and maintain the beverage cart, ensuring it is clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift. • Provide prompt and courteous beverage service to guests on the golf course or designated areas, taking orders and delivering drinks efficiently. • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and offering recommendations when appropriate. • Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately, maintaining proper records of sales and inventory. • Adhere to all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations, including verifying guest age when serving alcoholic beverages. • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless service and address any guest concerns or special requests. • Perform routine maintenance checks on the beverage cart and report any issues to management. • Skills: The Beverage Cart Attendant utilizes strong interpersonal skills daily to create a welcoming environment and build rapport with guests, enhancing their overall experience. Attention to detail is essential for maintaining inventory, ensuring the beverage cart is well-stocked, and presenting products attractively.
