About the Role
The Opportunity
Blue Hill Country Club is seeking a motivated, hands-on Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our agronomy leadership team. This role offers meaningful responsibility across daily maintenance, staff leadership, irrigation, plant health, course projects, and long-range improvement work at a busy 27-hole private club.
The Assistant will work directly with the Golf Course Superintendent and the other assistants to lead a diverse team and provide consistent conditions across the Championship Course, Challenger Course, practice facilities, and club grounds. The position offers hands-on leadership responsibility and the opportunity to contribute directly to daily operations and long-term course improvements.
About Blue HillEstablished in 1925, Blue Hill is a historic, 200-acre private club featuring an 18-hole Championship Course designed by Eugene "Skip" Wogan and a 9-hole Challenger Course. The club hosted the 1956 PGA Championship and the LPGA Ping/Welch Championship from 1991 through 1997. Today, Blue Hill has a strong and active membership and a full golf operation that includes a driving range, practice greens, short-game areas, pool, and event grounds.
Blue Hill is owned and operated by Concert Golf Partners and continues to invest in the property, its equipment, and its people. Capital improvements over the past five years include upgrades to Toro irrigation satellites and the Lynx control system, bunker renovations, a major tree-removal project during the winter of 2025-26, and extensive renovations to the Challenger Course throughout the spring and summer of 2026. Additional improvements are planned, and the operation continues to adopt new technology, including autonomous mowing, to improve efficiency and consistency.
