Assistant Golf Professional

<p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Registering golfers for tee times and welcoming them to the golf club.</li> <li>Managing golf operations as requested.</li> <li>Merchandising and selling of JDM Golf merchandise.</li> <li>Assist with stocking merchandise, ring sales transactions using POS system, answering telephones, reserving tee times, checking in guests who are playing golf, and answering guests’ questions about the golf course and the resort.</li> <li>Attend monthly and weekly staff meetings (including all safety meetings).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</strong></p> <p>The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. Requests for reasonable accommodation will be reviewed by the Company.</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to read, understand, and communicate effectively in English</li> <li>Basic computer skills</li> <li>General golf knowledge</li> <li>Must demonstrate exceptional guest service and public relations skills</li> <li>Must be able to operate a motor vehicle with manual transmission</li> <li>Must be able to perform professionally in a high volume, high profile, demanding environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p> <p>Constant standing, walking, reaching, grasping, seeing, hearing, talking. Frequent bending, stooping, pushing/pulling/lifting in excess of 50 pounds.</p>
