Pay Range: $16 - $16.50 per hour Responsibilities Maintain professional appearanceProvides information regarding the golf course, play time and other golf-related inquiriesProvides excellent customer service to arriving guests, expediting the check‐in processVerifies all revenues have been properly recorded through receipt inspection before starting a gameKeeps golf shop personnel informed regarding pace of play based off of the first teeSupplies guests with scorecards, pencils and other items as neededAdvises guests of course conditions and expected pace of playImplement and support all course policies and programs as communicated by managementPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Education And Experience Requirements Must have a valid driver’s license (if driving golf carts or range equipment)Must have a strong work ethicMust have friendly personality and enjoy working with the publicOrganized, able to work well in fast paced environmentMust have strong customer/guest orientationMust have strong communication and interpersonal skillsMust be dependableKnowledge about the game of golf preferred Working Conditions While performing the required duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with arms and handsThe employee often is required to walk, stand, talk or hear, handle, feel or operate objectsThe employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30lbs occasionallyThe employee will occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlSpecific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perceptionModerate exposure to extreme cold, heat, working outdoors, mechanical hazards and electrical hazardsNoise level is moderately quietWork extended hours during golf and holiday seasonWork weekends and holidays About Troon Troon started as one facility in 1990 and has since grown to become the world’s largest professional club management company.
