Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Daniel Island Golf Club in a dual-role position combining housekeeping duties with ladies locker room attendant responsibilities. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills, food and beverage skills and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization befitting our premier golf club environment.
Housekeeping Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize all assigned areas including clubhouse offices, dining areas, pro shop, common areas, and restrooms
Vacuum, mop, and maintain all floor surfaces throughout the clubhouse
Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment in all clubhouse areas
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
Restock supplies in restrooms and common areas
Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
Maintain cleaning supply inventory and report needs to supervisor
Follow all safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals properly
Ensure clubhouse maintains premium appearance for members and guests
Ladies Locker Room Attendant Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of ladies locker room facilities
Monitor and restock amenities including towels, toiletries, and supplies
Assist members with locker room questions and club information
Ensure locker room safety and security protocols are followed
Clean and sanitize locker room areas, showers, and vanity areas throughout shift
Report maintenance issues or safety concerns immediately
Provide excellent customer service to all club members and guests
Distributes food and wine menus; answers questions.
Ensure that the correct account numbers and names are given for billing.
Efficiently serves food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner, offers suggestions on daily specials and wine selections.
Places orders with kitchen; informs cooks about any special cooking instructions.
Handles all charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures and comfortable using Food and Beverage POS systems.
Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Uphold Daniel Island Golf Club's standards of excellence and hospitality
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Two years of comparable wait service experience.
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience.
Customer service experience, particularly in upscale or hospitality environments
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform cleaning tasks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable and punctual attendance
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Understanding of country club/golf club environment and member expectations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in hospitality, country club, or upscale service environments
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical safety
Bilingual capabilities a plus
Knowledge of wines and spirits
Of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
Capability to lift, carry, and move cleaning supplies and equipment
Manual dexterity for detailed cleaning tasks
