Golf Operations Manager

<p>Laguna Seca Golf Ranch is seeking a Golf Operations Manager.</p> <p> </p> <p>COURSE INFORMANTION:  Laguna Seca Golf Ranch is a beautiful Robert Trent Jones Sr. &amp; Jr. Designed 18 championship hole golf course.  Featuring a 13-acre natural grass practice facility with 23 hitting stations, a resort quality golf shop, dining, full bar, an emerging special event venue and complete tournament services. </p> <p> </p> <p>POSITION PROFILE: This position will promote the game of golf through careful development of an operational structure and programs that provide an exceptional experience for our guests.  Success in this role will be measured by growth in membership and revenue with a watchful eye on expenses as well.</p> <p> </p> <p>PRIORITIES AND SUCCESS FACTORS:</p> <p> </p> <p>Essential functions include:</p> <ul> <li>Work closely with the General Manager for hiring, training, and development of staff as prescribed by our company culture</li> <li>Provide exceptional guest services</li> <li>Coordinate golf programming and instruction with multiple golf organizations</li> <li>Ability to network within the surrounding community as an ambassador for the facility</li> <li>Plan and implement programs to increase golf revenue sales</li> <li>Develop and execute marketing and business plans with a focus on the bottom line</li> <li>Manage the Golf Operations budget in partnership with the General Manager</li> <li>Operations Management – Provide Tee Sheet and Point of Sale training and education to staff. Preferred experience with Total E Integrated POS System.</li> <li>Collaborate &amp; coordinate daily activities with other facility departments to provide the best guest experience</li> <li>Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills as he/she serves as the primary liaison with the local Men’s &amp; Women’s clubs and as a coordinator of player development programs, including Junior programs</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:  PGA/LPGA member in good standing or apprentice is preferred, but not required.
