REPORTS TO: Food & Beverage Manager / Pool Bar Supervisor
SCHEDULE: Seasonal (May–September; weekends, evenings, and holidays required)
COMPENSATION: Hourly (Non-Exempt)

Burning Tree Country Club is seeking hardworking, reliable, and team-oriented Seasonal Pool Bar Barbacks to support our summer bar operations.
This role is essential to maintaining an efficient and well-stocked bar environment, allowing bartenders to focus on delivering exceptional service to Members and guests. The Pool Bar Barback plays a key role in ensuring the bar operates smoothly through organization, preparation, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, outdoor setting.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Have prior food and beverage experience (preferred)
As a Pool Bar Barback, you play a critical support role in delivering a seamless Member experience.
The Essentials (Core Responsibilities)
Stock the bar with necessary supplies including ice, glassware, garnishes, mixers, and beverages
Replenish inventory throughout service to maintain efficient operations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including counters, floors, and storage areas
Assist bartenders with preparation tasks such as cutting fruit, restocking, and organizing supplies
Remove empty bottles, trash, and recycling from the bar area
Wash and polish glassware as needed
Ensure bar stations are properly set up before service and cleaned after service
Support bartenders and servers to maintain smooth service flow

Education & Experience
Must be at least 18 years of age
Previous barback or food & beverage experience preferred
Skills & Competencies
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Basic knowledge of bar operations preferred
Communication Skills
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members
Positive, respectful, and team-oriented demeanor
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and carry kegs, cases, and supplies (up to 50 pounds)
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks including bending, lifting, and reaching
