We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sommelier to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a refined palate, excellent customer service skills, and a deep understanding of wine and beverage pairings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance our guests' dining experience through expert wine recommendations and personalized service.

Key Responsibilities:

Curate and maintain an extensive wine list, ensuring a diverse and high-quality selectionAssist in directing the Cellar Society events, wine ordering, and pairingsWork alongside our Culinary Director, Events Manager & Clubhouse Manager to directly impact the wine program, the beverage program, Cellar society and the member experienceAssist the team in operating within the Cellar Society BudgetAssist the team with creation of individual P&L’s for all upcoming events related to the Beverage Program and Cellar SocietyAssist guests in selecting wines that complement their meals and preferencesProvide expert advice on wine storage, serving techniques, and food pairingsConduct wine tastings and educate staff and guests about different varieties and regionsManage inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, and proper storageEnsure proper presentation and serving of wines in accordance with safety and quality standardsCollaborate with the culinary team to develop wine and food pairing menusStay updated on industry trends, new wines, and emerging regionsSkills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Sommelier or in a similar role within the hospitality industryExtensive knowledge of wine, spirits, and beverage service standardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentCertification from a recognized wine or sommelier program (e.g., Court of Master Sommeliers, WSET) is preferredFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredJoin our team and be part of a vibrant culture that values excellence, continuous learning, and exceptional guest experiences.
