Position Summary:
To assist servers and management in the task of providing optimal service to the Addison Reserve membership and guest.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages and serves food from Kitchen to Table
Have a good knowledge of the food, its ingredients and prep options
Restocking and maintain cleanliness around buffets areas
Keep all items in the expediter station restocked
Practice healthy food handling and storage
Maintain the work areas (front and back of house) to ensure they are clean and orderly at all times.
Perform clean up and closing duties as assigned by manager
Attend all pre-meal meetings when scheduled
Report to management any needed repairs, breakage, spills, leaks, etc.
Room set-up including moving & arranging furniture to accommodate members and special events
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
Act, dress, and behave in a professional manner to reflect a positive image of Addison Reserve Country Club.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with the membership, guests, management and coworkers
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with many interruptions.
Working efficiently in a stressful environment.
Ability to work long and unusual hours when necessary.
Must enjoy working with the public, members and their guest’s
Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends and holidays
Must have knowledge in safety and accident avoidance.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to push, pull and lift at least 40 pounds
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
May be required to work outdoors during varying degrees and weather
Must be able to walk up and down a flight of stairs multiple times per day.
Education & Work Experience Requirements:
~ At least 2 years experience in a fine dining restaurant or country club .
