Golf Pro Shop Manager

The Golf Shop Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of our golf shop by overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This position requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for golf. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing inventory, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. Duties: Lead and manage a team of staff members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service. Oversee daily operations of the golf shop, including inventory management and merchandising. Implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and achieve sales targets. Train and develop staff in product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices. Maintain an organized and visually appealing shop layout that enhances the shopping experience. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly while maintaining a positive atmosphere. Negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing on merchandise. Monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary to ensure product availability. Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience: 3-5 years Golf Shop Management Experience and Team management. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of shop operations. Familiarity with wireless sales techniques and phone etiquette is preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively while balancing multiple responsibilities. Experience in sales management with a focus on achieving results through strategic planning.
