Description
MPCC is seeking enthusiastic team members to join our Outside Service staff, this is the crew that keeps things running smoothly by providing top-notch bag, cart, and range services to our members and guests. This temporary full-time opportunity is ideal for someone who can work outside, both independently and in groups, and is available consistently until December, as the golf course will temporarily close for renovations at that time.
Responsibilities:
Greet members warmly and provide prompt, courteous serviceMonitor the parking lot, assist members with bags, and provide transportation to the staging areaBring carts from storage to the staging area; check for tire pressure, brake operation, and other safety concernsLoad bags from storage onto cartsService the practice facilities for member and guest useSupply scorecards and pencils, and advise members of course conditionsRemove bags from carts and return bags to assigned rack in storage roomReturn and clean carts after useMaintain cleanliness and order of bag storage roomRequirements
Must be available to work outside year-round in all weather conditions (light/dark, hot/cold, humid/dry, etc.)Walk and stand, up to 7 hours a day on various surfacesLift, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds frequentlyWork in multiple positions, such as standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and squattingAbility to safely operate golf carts and ball picker (driver’s license required)
