Pool Lifeguards
The Orinda Country Club currently has openings for part-time Certified Pool Lifeguards.
Employees hired to work as lifeguards will be responsible for the following duties.
-Performing all Lifeguard trained responsibilities – surveillance & enforcing safety rules.
-Ensuring that all pool equipment is safe & secure.
-Responsible for enforcing the Pool regulations, safety, and safe being of all members, swimmers & their guests using the pool facility.
-Responsible for all Medical supplies stock, emergencies & minor injuries on the pool deck.
-Maintain a deck clear of trash and hazards and any lost property items.
-Recording & measuring the water quality at regular intervals.
-Perform a sweep of the locker rooms during compulsory 15min water breaks.
-Be proactive in assisting members and their guests with moving umbrellas, chairs, tables, etc.
-Empty trashcans as or when necessary throughout shift.
-Assist with the set-up and breakdown of any tables, chairs, umbrellas, BBQs, linens, and tents as necessary for all events at the pool.
-Be visible at all times on the Pool deck, unless authorized otherwise.
Employees may be asked to perform and assist with other duties not listed during the course of their shift.
Weekend Availability is required.
REQUIREMENTS
High School required.
Must have current Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
· Must have current Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate.
· Must have current Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification
· American Red Cross Basic First Aid required, training on AED units and possession of a current Red Cross CPR card.
Pay negotiable on years experience – starting @ $17.50/hour
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
