## Steward at The Bay Hill Club

As a Steward, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen operations, ensuring that everything stays clean, organized, and up to the high standards we pride ourselves on at The Bay Hill Club. Your main focus is keeping the kitchen area spotless and compliant with health codes, which means you'll be washing dishes, cleaning cookware, and making sure the proper water temperature and chemical amounts are always in use.

Your day-to-day will involve a mix of tasks, from assisting our cooks and chefs with food preparation to maintaining cleanliness in employee changing rooms, restrooms, and other back-of-the-house areas. You'll also be responsible for the dumpster and receiving areas, and you'll help with storing grocery and supply items. We rely on you to keep equipment, floors, and work surfaces in good working order at all times, and to complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning checklists.

We're looking for someone who truly understands local and state Board of Health requirements and can ensure these policies are followed correctly. You should be comfortable communicating with the team, following directions, and reacting to safety issues as they come up. A positive attitude and the ability to work well with others are essential—we're all about fostering a great team environment.

### What We're Looking For

- Minimum 1 year of previous work experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is desired.

- Ability to handle and manipulate heavy items and cleaning equipment for extended periods.

- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 60 lbs.

- Must be able to endure long periods of standing, sitting, and walking.
