We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Golf Course Superintendent to lead the maintenance and operations of our prestigious private country club’s golf course. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering exceptional course conditions and upholding the club’s reputation for excellence in grounds and landscape management.
As Superintendent, you will oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance across 120 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. You will manage a dedicated team of groundskeepers and technicians, ensuring the course consistently meets the high expectations of our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs tailored to seasonal and tournament needs Supervise daily operations including turf care, irrigation, pest and disease control, and landscaping Manage department budgets, procurement, and equipment maintenance Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards Collaborate with club leadership to align course conditions with member satisfaction and club goals
Qualifications: Proven experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent, preferably at a private club Expertise in turfgrass management, agronomy, and horticulture Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to excellence and a passion for the game of golf Ability to foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement
