Winterberry Irrigation is seeking a Commercial Irrigation Technician to join our growing Commercial Irrigation team. This role will focus primarily on installation and will support projects that are mostly local to Connecticut, with some regional travel as needed.
This position works closely with the Commercial Irrigation Operations Manager and field crews to ensure high-quality installations and reliable system performance.
Qualifications and Skills
Ability to install IrrigationExperience with sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, piping, and system components
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude (training available for candidates with related skills)
Commercial irrigation experience preferred
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
Commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards
Requirements
Valid driver’s license preferred, but not required
Irrigation or plumbing license a plus, but not required
Ability to travel locally within Connecticut and occasionally regionally
Prior irrigation or landscape-related experience is a plus

Compensation
Basic Laborer: $18 – $20 per hour
5+ years of experience: $26 – $30 per hour
Commercial and/or Golf experience: $30+ per hour (based on experience, to be discussed)
