About the Role
The Kittansett Club in Marion, MA is looking for energetic, personable, and customer-focused Servers/Waitstaff to join our team for the remainder of the 2026 season. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, making it a great opportunity for those looking to work around other commitments.
The Club offers contemporary à la carte service, as well as plated and stationed banquet presentations for members and their guests on a seasonal basis.
Job Summary

Responsibilities
Provide exceptional, friendly, and professional service to members and guests.
Take food and beverage orders promptly and accurately.
Maintain strong knowledge of menus, beverages, and daily offerings, and confidently answer questions and make recommendations.
Deliver food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards.
Communicate clearly with kitchen, bar, and service staff to ensure timely and accurate orders.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, tables, and side work areas.
Set up and restock dining and service areas.
Use the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately.
Help each shift run efficiently and work collaboratively with the entire team.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned by management.
Attend pre-meal meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous serving or fine dining experience preferred, but not required.
Friendly, professional demeanor and a genuine interest in hospitality.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable with POS procedures.
Strong organizational and people skills.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable and responsible with a strong team-oriented attitude.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional split shifts.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
TIPS or ServSafe certification is a plus.
